The Studio Ghibli Museum

After winning the ticket lottery (not really, just refreshing the page for 45 minutes with hopes and dreams), we finally got to experience the Ghibli musuem.

While they don't allow photography inside the museum, they do allow it in all of the outdoor areas, which we took full advantage of. For as whimsical and magical as these images are, the inside is even better.

If you're a fan of Ghibli at all, I'd highly recommend trying to get tickets.

I only wish I could read more Japanese - nothing is written in English so I feel like we missed out on a lot of detail and context.
